In September, 2012, Lakeview Hospital will have new Emergency Department that will provide much needed space for patients and hospital staff alike. ““We are absolutely thrilled to provide our community with new emergency facilities” notes Lakeview Hospital CEO, Rand Kerr. “Over the past 5 years the number of people seeking care in our Emergency Department has steadily risen. Adding additional space and top-of-the line technology to our Emergency Department will only help us provide our exceptional care to more patients.
In 2011 more than 16,000 patients visited Lakeview Hospital’s Emergency Department—an increase over prior years. “We anticipate the number of patients seeking emergent care at Lakeview Hospital will continually grow.” Kerr says, “Our mission is to provide the quality of care we would want our loved ones to receive. By enhancing our emergency department, we are better prepared to achieve that mission.
