Less Pain With Faster Recovery Times

For total knee surgeries, our anesthesiologists help ease recovery pain by administering a femoral block. The femoral block is a localized anesthesia that lasts a day or so after surgery so you don’t feel as much pain during the time when the knee would likely hurt the most.

For total hip replacements, you will be glad to know Lakeview Hospital surgeons perform hip replacement surgery using an approach which allows the surgeon to work between the muscles rather than detaching them. This means less pain and shorter recovery time.
