Dietary and Nutrition Service
Meal trays are delivered at 7:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Because of the number of meals being served, serving times may vary slightly for each patient care area. Coffee, juice and soft drinks are available in most patient areas — please let your caregiver know if you would like a beverage.
If you require a special diet, please check with your nurse before bringing in additional food or drink. If you miss a meal because of tests or treatment, ask your caregiver about ordering a late tray.
Telephones
Friends and relatives may call your room by dialing 801-299-2 (plus your room number). To make a local outside call from your patient room, dial “9” and then the number you wish to call. For long-distance phone calls pertaining to your treatment or care, please ask your nurse to connect your call. For personal or business calls, calling cards are available in our gift shop located on the first floor.
Smoke-Free Campus
To promote health for patients, families and staff, Lakeview Hospital is a smoke-free hospital campus. We ask that you refrain from smoking inside the hospital.
Pastoral Care And Spiritual Support
Chaplains are available to offer spiritual and emotional care and support to patients, family and friends. Please let your caregiver know if you would like to speak with a chaplain or call extension 2443. For privacy and quiet reflection, a chapel is located on the first floor near the ER entrance.
Interpreters
At Lakeview Hospital we utilize a phone service for interpretation needs. If you do not speak English, we will happily assist you by calling an interpreter.
