The Behavioral Health Unit at Lakeview Hospital is a short-term, comprehensive inpatient psychiatric program. Our mental health clinic is designed exclusively to meet the psychological and physical healthcare needs of adults ages 18 to 64, focusing on wellness while ensuring comfort and safety.
Our team consists of psychiatrists and other physicians, social workers, nurses, psychologists, behavioral health counselors who include a variety of expressive activities like music, recreation, leisure arts and pet therapies. Our physicians treat a full range of mental health issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, thought disorder and substance abuse.
We provide for psychiatric assessment, medication management, diagnostic and psychological testing, intensive group therapy and family education. A discharge plan is outlined with each patient and their significant other to ensure appropriate resources for ongoing care.
We welcome inquiries from individuals, family, friends and professionals who seek solutions to behavioral health issues. We provide evaluations onsite through our 24-hour hospital crisis team or you may be referred through your own mental health professional or facility.
Lakeview Hospital also operates Life Works, an outpatient substance abuse program, and New Vision, a medical stabilization for people with substance abuse addiction.
